I now have two grafts on a Seville orange that are exuding an orange gum from the cut end of the accepting branch, one is Eureka lemon (5/21/09) and the other is Valencia orange (5/13/09). I used the technique in Joe Real's tutorial to make the grafts. Should I be concerned about these grafts? The Valencia looks to me like the scion is dying anyway. Should I perhaps remove them well back of the exudate?
